BlackBerry service in India could be banned in Canada the company has agreed to resolve security problems, according to government officials directly knowledge with the matter.
India has said Research In Motion to set up a proxy server to national security authorities in the e-mail traffic, according to three officials, who declined to identify the information is confidential.
Research In Motion spokesman declined to say if Satchit Gayakwad Waterloo, Ontario-based company has been before the Government of India.
"It is no secret conversations with the Governor hoop, the government is required to publish," said Gayakwad Bangalore. "But RIM commitment to offer customers a highly secure and innovative products that meet customer needs and manage the cause."
