As per report from the Centers for Disease Control and Florida Department of Health that the dengue virus shows up in the Florida Keys. In 2009, about 5 percent of Key West residents, or about one thousand people were exposed to it. Now this year there have been 12 confirmed cases of dengue fever in the Key West area.
