NEW DELHI: The smartphone manufacturer HTC announced the launch of its first Tablet - HTC Flyer - in India to compete with existing players such as Samsung Galaxy Tab, Playbook BlackBerry and Apple iPhone.
The seven-inch touch screen tablet is powered by HTC Sense, a graphical user interface and combines natural touch and pen interaction.
HTC announced the HTC clock, a new linked video service that will debut at the HTC Flyer tablet and will work with a pioneer in the cloud OnLive Gaming, Inc. for the first cloud-based mobile gaming service to launch on a tablet.
"HTC believes that many people go through a single wireless device paradigm in an age where some are multiple wireless devices that serve their own needs. We saw an opportunity to experience a tablet that is different than creating more personal and productive" said Faisal Siddiqui, Country Manager, HTC India.
