Review: Long-awaited `StarCraft II' Sparkles

Twelve years is an eternity in video games business. In 1998, not Microsoft Xbox does not even exist, and the top game consoles - Sony's PlayStation and Nintendo 64 - continued to be more demanding in relation to the price of kids things that you can play on your computer.

Blizzard Entertainment's strategy for science fiction epic "Star Craft" was one of the highlights of the year and fans are yearning for a sequel for a long time. But Blizzard used, especially with blockbuster product online game "World of Warcraft."
Finally, although "Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty" ($ 59.99) has come, but Blizzard has a number of concessions on the market today. The follow-up, is again only
available for PC or Mac - Never forget that both consoles have become powerful . And the core game does not have many surprises for people who are connected to the original, but a dozen years.

With few exceptions, at any level "StarCraft II" unfolds the same way. You land on a planet a few buildings and a handful of robots. You collect the necessary funds to focus more buildings, troops and weapons. Then pound an enemy of the good old shock and awe.

There are many variations of this strategy to keep things interesting. You may be assigned to protect a landmark - a giant laser, - of an increasingly aggressive attacks. You may need a group of citizens to send ships to escape. Or you may be asked to sabotage the enemy trains before they escape from the valuable objects.
"StarCraft II" is described as a "real-time strategy", which means that your enemies can not move even when you move the action. I'm not a big fan of the genre, which is a tribute to the important skills Blizzard when I say that I do well in the 20 hours it took me to his solo campaign stop.
