Sehwag Gives India Good Start


Virender Sehwag launched a positive flurry of boundaries to give India a good start for two days for the third and final test on Wednesday in Colombo P Sara Oval.

Sehwag went to 21 from as many balls with the help of five boundaries and Murali Vijay India reached 32 without loss to 10 after six overs.

Previously unbeaten century Thilan Samaraweera helped Sri Lanka 425 in 138 overs after a competitive first innings.

Samaraweera had missed a remarkable 137 innings, hitting 12 boundaries and six of 288 balls during his 370 minutes stay crease.

Ishant Sharma claimed two wickets to PACER is only about three innings and 72 completed the 23 overs.

Pragyan Ojha emerged as India's best bowlers claimed impressive figures of four 115 1946 overs, but had no chance of his spinning partner Amit Mishra, who took 42 overs for 140, the distance between them can offer a lot to help the slow bowlers.
