Huawei today announced its new MediaPad, which will run Honeycomb optimized for 7-inch tablet form factor (the 7-inch HTC Flyer currently running Android 2.3 Gingerbread). According to Huawei, this version is the official Android 3.2. Android 3.1 has just been pushed to unacceptably like Motorola and Samsung Xoom Galaxy Tab 10.1. Later this year will be smartphones Honeycomb courtesy of Android Ice Cream Sandwich, maybe the rumor Nexus HD is the first smartphone that sort.

MediaPad specs so far include a 7-inch IPS LCD capacitive touch screen, 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor, 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with HD video recording, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera and 1080p Full HD playback and HDMI port. There is 14.4Mbps HSPA + and Wi-Fi Wireless-N connectivity.

3.2 Honeycomb Android will support Flash 10.3 Out-of-the-box, and comes preloaded with MediaPad Facebook, Twitter, let's Golf and Documents To Go applications. The MediaPad weighs 390g and is 10.5 mm thick. Huawei promises more than 6 hours of battery life.
