iPhone-maker Apple is known to be of the scanner Competition Commission of India, after a complaint alleged that India followed Apple's anti-competitive practices by selling its IOS-based devices.
The complaint filed before the 4 Of The competition Act 2002 said that Apple is restraining the customer's choice of limiting the availability ofiPhones and iPads a limited number of service providers in India after its signature stores, according to PTI report.
"The complainant also alleged that the user can just download the software iStore and the other device is not recognized," the reportquoted a senior CCI official said.
Currently, Airtel and Aircel sell Apple's newest product, the iPhone 4 in India, while iPad is only sold through the Apple Store.
