HTC for 2011 flagship smartphone, HTC Sensation, will be available in Australia from next month through Telstra.
Since most advanced smartphone from HTC to date, Sensation set for a battle royal against rival Samsung, Galaxy S2, which is already for sale here.
Both phones are fast Dual Core, 1.2 megahertz processors, both have top-of-the-range 8-megapixel back facing camera, and they are running latest Android smartphone operating system - Gingerbread.
"This epic is the flagship multimedia smartphone from HTC, and will only be on the Telstra Next G network launch in July," Andrew Volard, Telstra mobile product manager, said in a statement.
"The Sensation is composed of advanced materials such as glass-shaped edges, different metal speaker grille and an aluminum unibody."
