Following the recent statement from Nokia that the company would be Apple's product disclosure practices to follow her WP7 units, we were to believe that it actually would do what it stated. But Nokia's CEO Stephen Elop seems to have trouble understanding that because he has unofficially unveiled the device at an event. The aim was to show the audience how it looks. Elop humbly asked the audience to not record or take pictures, to prevent the spread of the same in the blogosphere or the media.
It seems that unknown Elop was a personal recording of the entire event, even if he went forward with the unveiling. Windows 7 Phone The new Nokia phone, known as the Sea Ray for now, has a striking resemblance to Nokia N9. Elop explained, pointing at the camera hardware button on the right side of the device, which is not present on the N9, before finally turning device. This unit was seen running on Windows 7.5 Phone aka Mango. The official announcement is still some months away but it will not matter to people because the device has already been published, and published all over the internet. The Sea Ray will have an 8 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, the same as N9. Other specs may include a 1 GHz processor (1 GHz processor is a must for all WP7 units) and 512 MB of RAM. The back is equivalent to N9, apart from the location of the dual LED flash. Apart from these minor differences, the handset has a similar structure as the N9.
