Samsung take expensive steps to promote the Samsung S Galaxy II handsets. This phone is already well on their own, so I do not think an extravagant promotion is necessary for consumers to hear.

Samsung's latest gimmick Japan for Galaxy II S Marketing is by sending it into space! Samsung along with JP Aerospace in the transfer of S Galaxy II from the ground. They used a balloon and a mini-space astronauts to the send-off. Mini-astronaut was in capable hands the phone as a camera to monitor her every move.

After Apple, Samsung, Acer vie for No. 2 tablet spot

Once the undisputed leader in the tablet from Apple, Samsung and Acer vie for No. 2 tablet finally the world, according to research firm DisplaySearch.

While Apple shipped about 4.7 million 10-inch class tablets last quarter, Samsung seems the nearest competitor at about 850,000 units sold worldwide in the same quarter, according to Richard Shim of DisplaySearch, which pegs its numbers to vendors' public statements.
