Here is a minor update to the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc. The smartphone runs on Android is 2.3 aka Gingerbread, and now Sony Ericsson India has announced the 2.3.3 update for the same. The update is available via the PC Companion software, but it has not yet launched.
This is not so much of a surprise, however, because a few months ago, Sony Ericsson announced worldwide that the update would come for the Xperia Xperia Arc-and-Play. AndroidOS.in now says that the update has hit India.
The software upgrade brings a lot of talk about Facebook as a function Xperia Xperia Arc plus there are other areas where this update will be some more improvements. You can expect some stability in the handset software and Wi-Fi function.
Moreover, the pressure sensitivity to be improved to a better sense of the interface. The HD video recording, and the battery performance is also expected to show an improvement.
